Anna was born in England and grew up in East Africa where she developed a love for nature and the outdoors. In 1971 Anna immigrated to Canada where she fell in love with the mountains and scenery of Alberta. She is an avid hiker and cross country skier and enjoys the time when she can escape from the city.

In 1991 Anna took up watercolor courses with Pat Jones at the Leighton Center, since then Anna has taken numerous workshops with prominent artists as well as courses at the Alberta College of Art. She is also a member of the Sketch Club of Calgary and the Canadian Federation of Artists.

Annas work can be viewed at her home studio in Calgary, Heritage Gallery in Calgary, Leighton Center and is a member of the Centennial Gallery of Calgary.
