Barbara Fyvie

Barb was born in Calgary and received her BFA from the University of Alberta in 1984. Now living in Canmore, she works in acrylic, oil, encaustic and mixed media.

Barb's explorations have taken her to many of Western Canada's mountain ranges, including the Rockies, Purcells, Selkirks, Valhallas and the Esplanades.

Barb strives to collect experiences and share them through her work in clear, concise statements of rhythm, colour and light.

Barb's work is currently in private and corporate collections in Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
