Priscilla Janes

After graduating from the University of Colorado in 1970 with a B.A. in Fine Arts and a teaching certificate, Priscilla began working with clay. Specializing in printmaking during University, clay was a new medium for her to explore. Basically a self-taught potter, enriched by numerous courses and workshops, Priscilla produces one-of-a-kind clay pieces using both electric and sawdust kilns, and balances her work between functional pottery and decorative sawdust work.
