Over 20 members of CAAG and fellow artists stayed at the Alpine Club of Canada's Elizabeth Parker hut at Lake O'Hara from September 7th to 11th. The plan was to get to know our fellow artists, have fun, eat well and of course to be creative. The weather was mixed but fortunately it was mainly dry, mosquito free and everyone had a wonderful time.

During the week the whole Lake O'Hara area was explored and in true mountain spirit we enjoyed sunshine, rain, snow and rainbows. In the evenings we enjoyed fabulous cuisine that was organised and prepared under the supervision of Joe Martin. We also shared our days experiences and the days art was displayed around the walls for everyone to enjoy.

News spread around the Lake O'Hara area that artists were staying at the "EP hut" and we soon had visitors who wanted to see the daily displays.
Another group of artists were also staying at the Lake O'Hara lodge but I've a feeling that we were having all the fun!
