Carol Dillon paints and teaches oil painting both in private lessons in her home and through community courses offered by the Town of Canmore Recreation and Cultural Department. Carol chose “Seasons of Paradise” as the theme for the show of her own work and that of her students. |

The beauty of the Bow Valley’s forests, lakes, and rivers inspire her painting. The sights, sounds, smells, and wildlife evoke images from her childhood. Carol says that many of her students also feel that their own paradise is rooted in images from their childhoods. Their best paintings reflect those long held images. Carol is currently President of the Canmore Artists and Artisans Guild. |
